I was able to obtain all the audio and transcripts from wiretaps and hidden microphones used to investigate skimming form Las Vegas casinos in the 1970s. The film’s audience is able to hear out of the mouths of the Midwest mobsters exactly what they were concerned about, how they skimmed, who was skimming and other interesting little gossipy items like the fact that the Robert DeNiro character, Frank “Lefty” Rosenthal had hair plugs.
